All About David Baldacci

David Baldacci’s novels have only grown in popularity since Absolute Power was published in 1996. His latest, The Target, is coming to the Scott County Library System in April 2014.

Baldacci was born and raised in Virginia and has degrees in political science and law from Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Virginia School of Law.

His first novel, Absolute Power, was made into a movie directed and starred in by Clint Eastwood.

In addition to writing, Baldacci support his family’s Wish You Well Foundation, which promotes adult literacy for the 25% of American adults who read at Level 1. Level 1 reading skills cause many adults to struggle with everyday tasks such as filling out forms and reading medicine labels.
