Slow time at the BSC

There was only one new book for the blog this month, but there isn’t even a cover picture available yet. Danielle Steel’s Blue comes out in February of 2016, and holds have been placed for BSC patrons. A quick summary will be posted here within the next few months.

Orders were also placed for Large Print versions of several books that have already been listed here, so holds were placed for anyone requesting LP copies of those.

If you haven’t looked at our Bestseller Club offerings recently (or ever), feel free to grab a new brochure from your friendly neighborhood branch librarian, and update your choices.

After the death of his wife, the loss of his advertising business, and the loss of his home, Alan Christoffersen’s cross-country journey–a walk across America, from Seattle to Key West, with only the pack on his back–has taught him lessons about love, forgiveness and, most of all, hope. Now Alan must return west to face another crisis, and it will take the love of a new friend, and the wisdom of an old friend, to help him to finally leave the past behind and find the strength and hope to live again.

midnight crossroadMidnight Crossroad, by Charlaine Harris. May 2014.

resistantResistant, by Michael Palmer. May, 2014.

field of preyField of Prey, by John Sandford. May, 2014.
